Beans in tomato sauce



2 tablespoons vegetable stock Bouillon Herkules
250 g white beans
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 can of tomato pieces
1 tablespoon tomato paste
Fresh thyme
2 bay leaves
Olive oil
250 ml of water


Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
Heat the olive oil in a cooking pot and sauté the vegetables.

After 2 minutes, pour in the tomato cubes and the water.
Also add the thyme, bay leaf, tomato paste and vegetable stock and stir.

Let it simmer for 1 hour without a lid on a low heat. Stir every now and then.

Drain the beans and add them to the sauce, heat up for and serve!
